Feb 9th 2016 is Safer Internet Day, which is celebrated by schools, children and professionals all over the world. This year’s #SID2016 themes is: ‘Play your part for a better internet’.

WISE KIDS supported #SID2016 by delivering a range of activities in Feb 2016. These include digital citizenship workshops for young people in Wales, and a workshops for professionals from ARPAN (http://arpan.org.in) in Mumbai. As part of our #SID2016 WISE KIDS also carried out exploratory discussions with 13 and 14 year olds (and educators/ counsellors) from Mumbai, on themes related to their Internet access, digital literacy and online safety. This work will be shared over the coming months.
